Slip Disc / Herniated Disc
A slipped or herniated disc occurs when the inner portion of a spinal disc pushes through its outer layer and may compress nearby nerves. It can cause back or neck pain, sciatica, numbness, tingling, or weakness. Surgery may be considered when symptoms are severe, persistent, or associated with significant nerve compression.
